Rajan Thakral
Founder and CEO
He started his career at the early age of 15 with his family business. His passion to achieve a level and fly high necessitate him to leave his hometown. He, then shifted to Noida and tried his hands on lots of small & big ventures. Eventually he came to know about his inclination towards the real estate industry and there was no looking back afterwards. He gained international exposure in real estate industry in Melbourne and Dubai.
Along with real estate, he developed his interest in travel industry and started his travel company in Dubai and Chandigarh. During the COVID-19, he was compelled to put a pause to his travel business. He later kickstarted his company back in 2021 and this time in Noida. Now the World of Tourist is one of the renowned names in travel industry. Along with domestic, MICE and International travel, he now started the Inbound travel as well.
Piyush Mathur
Co-Founder
Studied engineering but Piyush chose to be an entrepreneur. He started his export & import business in Dubai and took it to the sky. However, some unfortunate events brought him back to India and he than started a food business and collaborated with Rajan Thakral in his real estate business.
Eventually he also developed his interest in travel industry as he himself travels a lot and love to explore new destinations. The travel bug initiated the shift to a holiday consultant. Having travelled to numerous countries in different countries helped in enhancing the destination knowledge which led to helping prospective clients plan their dream holidays.
Pinky Thakral
Chief Operating Officer
With 15 years of international corporate and education industry experience, Pinky has a welcoming personality. Her proficiency lies in, people management, team handling, marketing and counselling. Bringing with her the trainings and experience from different parts of the world. She is a people person and strives towards a good team work. A self-starter, perseverant and believes in the best in oneself and others.
Prior to start developing her interest in tourism, she worked with international real estate business in Melbourne and Dubai. She than joined World of Tourist as Chief Operating Officer and started her journey in travel industry and over the time she developed special customer and supplier handling skills, a much required for smooth operation.
Shakti Singh
Sales Head
With 15 years of experience, Shakti completed his Post Graduation in Tourism Administration from Bangalore University and started his carrier in Inbound Travel industry. An avid traveller himself, Shakti has travelled through the length & breadth of country and has extensive first-hand knowledge of product. With his knowledge & experience he helped thousands of international travellers’ visiting to India & it’s neighbouring nations.
Shakti has great love towards his culture and traditions. He, in fact, grown particularly passionate about showing all new travellers the culture of his land and seeing them again through a fresh eye. India and its neighbouring countries have been his specialty and he find great reward in designing personalised itineraries and tours.
Harshita Jain
Head of Operations
With a MBA degree in Travel and Tourism Management from Gwalior, Harshita has 15 years’ experience in Travel Industry, she specializes in Inbound Travel. She has a great eye for understanding the requirements of Leisure clients and providing cost effective travel solutions. A keen traveller herself, she loves to travel with Luxury and explore offbeat destination.
Her zeal to learn new things and passion for travel turned her into a seasoned travel advisor. Harshita has been traveling personally and professionally. A specialist in Indian sub-continent, Harshita has led well numerous bespoke journeys across India.
Neelu Kaur
Assistant Manager – Operation
Neelu has been the part of travel industry since last 12 years. She joined World of Tourist in 2022 and ever since she became the back-bone of the operation team. She is keen learner and leaves no stone unturned to make your travel flawless. She also maintains a healthy work environment in the office. She enjoys every moment of her job and love share her knowledge with her colleagues.
Akanksha Singh
Operation Executive
Akanksha started her career in travel industry in 2021 with World of Tourist. She had been a great intern and became proud part of World of Tourist team. Over the time she gained good knowledge of Indian destinations and also developed good customer handling and problem-solving skills.
Nandini Chauhan
Operation Executive
Nandini also joined World of Tourist in 2021 as intern and became the part of team very soon. A travel enthusiast in herself, Nandini took lesser than expected to became a travel advisor. She does whatever it takes to provide best travel services to her clients and always keen to learn new things.
