After breakfast, check out at hotel and drive to Mahabalipuram. En-route stop at the Kanchipuram, famous for its numerous important and vibrant temples like Ekambareshwara temple and Kamakshi Amman temple. Some of the temples are dating back to Pallava, Chola and Vijayanagar temples.
Continue to Mahabalipuram, used as major seaport during the Pallava kingdom and now a World Heritage Site. On arrival, check into the hotel. Evening is free to unwind at the beach. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Mahabalipuram covering the Arjuna’s penance, Trimurti cave temple, five Ratha temples and Shore temple. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Tanjore, once the capital of great Chola empire, Tanjore was the foundation of most remarkable civilization of India. Renowned for its grand Brihadishwara temple and royal palace. En-route we stop at Chidambaram and Gangaikonda Cholapuram to visit the renowned temples. These temples are dating back to great Chola empire era and symbolizes the connection between art & spirituality.
Continue to Tanjore. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit the World Heritage listed Brihadishwara temple, built in 1003 by ‘Raja Raja I’ (King of Kings). The temple has Gopura (main temple), massive tower, inscriptions, sculptures and one of the tallest Shiva Linga in India. Later also visit the Tanjore Royal Palace Museum, famous for paintings, Statues, manuscripts and history learning photographs. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out at hotel and drive to Madurai. En-route visit Trichy, also known as Tiruchirappalli. Trichy used to be the capital of Chola in 3rd century BC and had passed through the hands of Pallavas, Pandyas, Vijayanagars and Madurai Nayaks. It has few prominent temples like Sri Ranganathaswamy temple, Sri Jambukeshwara temple and Rock Fort temple.
Later continue to Madurai, one of the oldest cities that traded with ancient Rome. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Later visit Meenakshi Amman temple, this 17th century temple is considered to be the peak of Dravidian temple architecture. Spread across the 6-hectare it has 12 Gopuram decorated with impressive display of Gods, Goddesses, demons etc. Also visit the Tirumalai Nayak Palace and Gandhi Memorial Museum. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out at hotel and drive to Thekkady. Known for Periyar Tiger Reserve which shelters variety of wildlife including wild boars, Sambhar, Bison, Langur and elephants. It also has a man-made lake, Lake Periyar, inside the tiger reserve and known for scenic boat ride to explore the wildlife. On arrival, check into the hotel. Later in the evening enjoy the boat ride on Lake Periyar to witness the wildlife. Evening is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

The popular places to visit in Munnar include the Eravikulam National Park, KFDC Flower Garden, Tea Plantations, Tea factory (to learn all about tea processing), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, Top Station, etc. Evening is free at leisure. After breakfast, check out at the hotel and drive to Alleppey. On arrival, board the exclusive houseboat and cruise through the glistening palm-shaded backwaters of Kerala – Enjoy the scenic beauty when the boat slowly cruises through the alluring backwater, small village areas, lush vegetation, paddy fields, fishing nets, coconut palms. Stay onboard the houseboat.
After breakfast, disembark the houseboat and drive to Cochin, a fascinating mixture of cultures; Chinese fishing nets, olden mosques, Portuguese & Dutch bungalows and quivering remains of British colonial era. Later proceed for the half day city tour covering Chinese Fishing nets, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace also known as Mattancherry Palace. In the evening witness the Kathakali dance show.
