Tour Plan

Welcome to the Land of Thunder Dragon. On arrival in Paro, you will be met & assisted by our representative at the airport. Later drive directly to Thimphu – the capital city of Bhutan. On arrival check into the hotel and relax. After a brief rest proceed to visit Motithang Takin reserve, home to Bhutan’s national animal – Takin. Also visit the Buddha view point, where the Dordenma Buddha sits. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later proceed for the sightseeing and visit Centenary Farmer’s market, National Folklore Museum, National textile museum, National memorial chorten, Jungshi Paper factory and Thimphu Tashichho Dzong. Evening is free to explore the local market. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later check out at hotel and drive to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. We drive through the Dochula Pass and stop to behold the stunning view of Himalayan peaks. On arrival in Punakha, check into the hotel. Later visit Punakha Dzong, sitting at the fork of 2 rivers, it is a beautiful spot. Surrounded by the lavender jacaranda trees Punakha Dzong is spectacular display of Bhutanese architecture. Evening is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later check out at hotel and drive to Bumthang. En-route we stop at Trongsa to visit the Chendebji Chorten, the large white chorten is patterned after Swayambhunath in Kathmandu. Later visit the Trongsa Dzong, stunning fortress commanding position over Magde Chu.

Later continue to Bumthang. On arrival, check into the hotel and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the Kurjey Lhakhang, which houses the rock that shows the Guru Rinpoche’s body imprint. Later visit the Tamshing Goemba, Kenchosum Lhakhang and Jakar Dzong. In the evening we will visit Swiss Farm where the variety of Swiss cheese and Bhutan’s only native beer are produced. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast check at hotel and drive to Gangtey. On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit the Gangtey Goemba, a 17th century monastery sits on hill overlooking the entire valley. Evening is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later check out at hotel and drive to Paro. On arrival, check into the hotel and drive to visit Ta Dzong, cylindrical water-tower built in 1649 and converted into National Museum of Bhutan. Also visit Rinpung Dzong, built using stones, this Dzong is one of the most impressive Dzong in Bhutan. Evening is free at leisure or explore the local market. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we take a 2 hours hike to Taktsang Monastery also know as Tiger’s Nest. It’s one of the most picturesque and most photographed monasteries in Bhutan. After visiting Taktsang drive to visit the ruins of Drukgyal Dzong and also visit the Oldest Buddhist temple of Bhutan, Kyichu Lakhang. Evening is free to relax at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later check out from the hotel and transfer to airport to board the flight for onwards journey.
