Later proceed for the half day city tour covering Chinese Fishing nets, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace also known as Mattancherry Palace. Later walk through the historical lanes of Fort Kochi area. After breakfast, embark onto the breath-taking journey to the soul stirring hill station of Kerala, Munnar. Drive through the tea plantations and inhale the fresh air filled with the aroma of spices. After breakfast start the sightseeing of Munnar covering Mattupatty Dam, Eravikulam National Park, Echo Point and also visit tea factory to know the process of tea making right from plucking the leaves till packaging. Also taste some of the tea flavours. Later explore the local market. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After early breakfast check out at the hotel and drive to Thekkady. En-route stop at Vandanmedu spice auction center (subject to permission from authorities) to witness the cardamom auction.
Later continue to Thekkady, renowned for its wildlife and spice cultivation. On arrival, check into the hotel. After a brief rest go for a boat ride on Lake Periyar to witness the wildlife. Evening is free to relax at the hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Early morning, go for a guided walk in the spice plantation to get the first-hand knowledge on spice cultivation and their usage. Post walk return back for breakfast at the hotel.
Later drive to Alleppey, known for its backwater. On arrival, board the houseboat and cruise through the glistening palm-fringed backwaters of Kerala. Stay onboard the houseboat.
Morning breakfast onboard. Later disembark the houseboat in Alleppey and transfer to Cochin airport to board the flight to Colombo. Reach Colombo and drive to Negombo directly. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, explore the fishing town of Negombo and visit the fish market, Dutch churches & Ports.
Later drive to Habarana the heart of cultural triangle. En-route visit Cave temple of Dambulla, a sacred site. Continue to Habarana and check into the hotel. Evening is free to relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, take an excursion to Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa.
Known for its magnificent Rock Fortress, Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Climb the iconic Lion Rock which stands about 650 ft high and was a capital of Sri Lanka in the 5th century.
Stay overnight at the hotel. Another stop would be Polonnaruwa and visit Royal Palace, Gal Viharaya and Polonnaruwa Vatadge. Return back to the hotel in Habarana by evening and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Kandy, another World Heritage Site of Sri Lanka. On arrival check into the hotel. Later visit a Spice Garden, where you can take a walk around the garden to see how they grow and learn about Ayurvedic medicine.
Later visit Temple of Tooth Relic, one of the most visited temples in Sri Lanka. Watch the Cultural Show these are traditional Sri Lankan dances accompanied by folk music that derived from the Temples. Stay overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Nuwara Eliya (“little England”) through the tea plantations – one of the best drives where you will endless tea plantations and some stunning views as you slowly climb up through the hills. On arrival, check into the hotel. Later visit the tea factory to know more about the Ceylon Tea. Evening is free at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Morning breakfast at the hotel. Later check out from the hotel and transfer to Colombo. Reach Colombo and go for a panoramic tour of the capital city. Later transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward journey.
